About Me
My name is Spencer and I am a street evangelist in Southern California. I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to hear the good news about Jesus Christ. My ministry consists of speaking to everyday people, anywhere. Whether at school, at the mall, beach, church, in the car, at work, wherever I see an opportunity to share the gospel. Please understand that my intentions for creating this site are neither to brag nor boast about what I do nor how I do it. I created this site to allow others to hear, read and see examples of street evangelism. I believe that it is important to equip Christians with the tools to go out and share their faith to the non-believers that are so commonly present in our world.
I do not really like classifying myself to a specific group. There are many people, however, that ask me "What are you?", so I will explain briefly. I am a non-denominational, conservative, born again, Evangelical Christian. Wow that is a mouth full.
I take the Bible as literal as I can. Obviously there are times where the Bible is metaphorical and figurative, i.e. parables and analogies. I understand that cultures, societies, and ways of life change. The word of God does not change. I never want to offend people or upset them, however the word of God is very convicting. I have no problem talking about "sensitive topics" with people. I like how John McArthur put it, "If the truth offends, let it offend, people have lived their entire lives in offense to God's word, let them be offended for a while."
